On the 4th of March, somebody opened a webshop with a very peculiar product: jeans for people with smartphones (and iPhones in particular). I do not own such a phone - I am still very happy with a small SE phone - but I did like the idea. Having an idea, working with it and actually create it. More people should do this. I had to buy them just to support the initiative.

So I did. A lot of people did the same. Last week they actually arrived and I have walked around them for a couple of days. My first thought? Not too positive... they fitted very snugly, more so than I anticipated. A friend concluded about the same. But luckily I ordered pants on the wide side, so in fact: they fit perfectly after spending some time in them :-)

The layout of the pockets forced me to shuffle stuff around and the pants feel in fact like they replace wallets and phone covers. I do not like wallets in my back pocket, so normally I put my wallet in my right pocket. But WTFjeans do not really have wallet-compatible front pockets. Besides the microfibre-laced pockets, there are only two shallow pockets. So for me, this meant I had to shuffle.

I like the outcome however :-P I ditched my wallet, because I never have cash on me and use my left "phone" pocket for my cards (6 cards). Because the pocket is slightly lower, the cards never get bended whatever I do :-) My keys fit perfectly in one of the small pockets and the other one is used for receipts and pieces of paper. Lastly, my phone fits in the right phone pocket with room to spare :-) I tried an iPhone from a friend and that fits perfectly, wiping the screen cleaner when inserting or retrieving it.

I was a bit sceptic when I had them on for the first time, but now I want my other pants to use the same layout :o
